No, I’m not writing about the six-overtime epic between Syracuse and UCONN in the Big East Tournament. (I’ve never quite despised a player like I do Syracuse’s Eric Devendorf.) Last night marked perhaps one of the greatest and most important beatdowns in semi-serious TV history: Jim Cramer vs. Jon Stewart.
If you haven’t read my previous post regarding this feud, it comes down to this: Stewart has basically called out CNBC and their circus of misdeeds, questioning whether they stand for honest investors or shady CEOs.
For whatever reason, Cramer agreed to appear on “The Daily Show” last night, and he was completely annhilated by a well-informed Jon Stewart. What’s most impressive is Cramer’s the money guy, Stewart’s the comedian. You wouldn’t know it though by the way Stewart chides Cramer for his failure to be forthright and altruistic. You can watch the massacre here. (There are three parts to the interview.)
If you saw it, what did you think?
