If you haven’t heard the new Eminem single, “We Made You,” consider yourself lucky. It follows the same formula as previous lead singles like “My Name Is…,” “The Real Slim Shady” and “Without Me” — catchy hook, unnecessary jabs at pop icons, video with celebrity look-a-likes.
The video is mediocre at best, but it barely does enough to distract from this terrible song. Eminem’s audience has gotten older and their less interested in hearing Lindsay Lohan disses (or anything about Lohan, for that matter). “Crack a Bottle” drew worthy buzz for his upcoming “Relapse” album, but this single indicate more of the same from Mr. Mathers. Apparently that age/wisdom correlation doesn’t work for everyone.
