Tax Day Tea Party: Facts Optional

I think the best thing about being a member of the Tea Party is you don’t have to be particularly educated or informed on policy. You just have to abide the Tea Party formula:

Make a Statement + Believe It’s True = It’s True*

(*If anyone questions what you’re saying, they’re probably just a bleeding heart liberal who’s too busy to pull away from CNN’s teet to get the real story.)

  1. Facts are not important. What is important is your intention to do good. That is the essence of the current leadership in Washington DC. What Me Worry? Why do you think TEA people need to be more exceptional than the most brilliant and gifted President ever?

  2. “I think the best thing about being a member of the Tea Party is you don’t have to be particularly educated or informed on policy.”
    So true!

Here’s another example to support your statement. No names, so I’ll give you three hints…
    1. Sophomore boy in your freshman english comp.
    2. Traded cocaine for a handgun to an undercover policeman.
    3. Notorious for wearing Ed Hardy, and sticking his tongue out while flipping off the camera.

I know, I shook my head and laughed when I found out as well.
